Video Editing

Here is a screen grab of the video editing,

as you can see there is a lot going on. This is the final version so nothing else is going to change i think its pretty good now. In the top left you can see one of the scenes that have a "security camera" type overlay that effect was a bit time consuming to make.

FINAL MuTr:IX

This is the Final version of the MuTr:IX project sequence. It includes the opening sequence, the title and the Christmas special's first scene.

MUTRIX FEEDBACK

Our feed back was very positive many groups believed our video to be one of the best. We learned that our video has too much action and we need to tone it back because not all of our fighting scenes made sense in the cannon of the story arch we where trying to capture in our 1 minute scene.

Storyboard

This is our story board for our Christmas scene. It contains all the shot types for our scene including some of the draft dialogue and what angle the shots should be.

Script L2 yellow 4

This is our script for the short Christmas special scene. We didn't have too much trouble in filming and recording this except at one part where Robert had his back to the character where we had to use a recorder to add the voiceovers and ambient sounds in later.

I edited over my original script with pen to show where I had changed the dialogue and the motions each of the characters make.

MRC Filming

We managed to get plenty of good MRC footage as it was a quiet and dark day. However the light wasn't great, But despite this we managed to get plenty of footage appropriate for the atmosphere of the sequence.


Another problem we had was that some of our video footage wasn't quite good enough and equipment was in shot so it all had to be filmed again.

Directors Blog 2:

Director blog: This image is of me reviewing the script to see if it can be improved or changed to fit the scene.

This image is our cinematographer/cameraman reading the script to see if he can make any changes on the shot types.

This image is a shot of Aaron having his scene filmed where he hacks the security camera so  Lawrence can get into the lab. We didn't have any trouble filming this scene.
